SFMOMA: The Building of
a Modern Museum

Combining archival footage of the Museum with present day images of the new
building, accented by interviews with the Museum Chairman, Director and architect
along with thoughts from community leaders and artists, this program will take
viewers on a virtual tour of SFMOMA’s illustrious past, present and foreseeable
future.

With unprecedented access to the Museum’s private collection and archives,
SFMOMA: The Building of a Modern Museum  is much more than just an
educational video on the artists represented inside. The program explores
how art, architecture and politics collide when a project of this magnitude is
attempted.
